Overview
Due to the continued expansion our client are looking to recruit an Aircraft Continued Airworthiness Propulsion Engineer to join their Part M CAMO team, focused on B747-400/-8 Propulsion Systems, based at London Stansted Airport. The company is looking for an individual who is proactive and adaptable to a changing environment and can help support change.
Main Duties

  • Review of FAA/EASA/CAA requirements, including airworthiness directives.
  • Review of airworthiness data (Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and Service Letters) and determining actions to be taken.
  • Investigating in-service defects.
  • Review of in service data and monitoring reliability programme.
  • Ongoing review and updates to maintenance programmes.
  • With others, planning and scheduling work to be undertaken.
  • Experience with Maintenance Management software.
  • Updating and reviewing the IT tracking system (TRAX).

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Knowledge of EASA/CAA airworthiness regulations and requirements.
  • Extensive large aircraft maintenance and maintenance management experience.
  • Effective communicator and team player.
  • Preferably B1 licensed with B747-400/-8 experience.
  • Experience working in a Part M organisation.
  • Experience in assessing airworthiness data and in repair design.
  • Familiar with Boeing documents and knowledge of My Boeing Fleet system.

  • Require and receive all the necessary information and materials from managers and specialists.
  • Make proposals of process and procedures improvements related to his/her job description responsibilities.
  • Enhance his/her professional skills through participation in seminars, internships, training courses, including separation from main duties performing (if agreed with the direct manager).
  • Make decisions within his/her competence.
