Duties and Responsibilities:
Ø    Ensures that all airworthiness records are up to date (airworthiness doc's: SB, AD lists, log books, life limited components lists, etc.)
Ø    Ensures that all the ARC’s are valid
Ø    Ensures all regulatory responsibilities are being followed as per the approved CAME
Ø    Prepare / revise the CAME in a way acceptable to RCAA / EASA
Ø    Liaise with RCAA regarding CAME requirements / revisions
Ø    Ensures all operational departments are informed regarding scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, AOG’s, aircraft limitations and passenger convenience items.
Ø    Issues a forecast for the next maintenance actions that need to be performed
Ø    Ensures that all the maintenance programmes are issued, approved and up to date
Ø    Responsible for supervision of Airworthiness Engineers
Ø    Ensures that the subscriptions for the documentation are renewed when required
Ø    Keeps a data base with all the defects reported by pilots, engineers and mechanics and all the maintenance problems detected during routine maintenance (unscheduled maintenance, defect rectification)
Ø    Issues and keeps a data base with safety reports
Ø    At Beginning of each year issues a report regarding all the activity performed the previous year
Ø    Performs annual staff reviews and discuss new targets
Required skills:
Ø    Degree in aeronautical engineering or equivalent
Ø    At least 3 years in a CAMO environment
Ø    Fluent in writing and spoken English (B2 level or higher)
Ø    Motivated, proactive and team dynamic player
Ø    Committed in their own development to learn new skills
Ø    Detailed knowledge of EASA Part M / 145 regulations
Ø    Ability to understand, interpret and apply regulatory requirements and workplace agreements
Ø    Knowledge in aircraft systems
Ø    Strong IT skills
