An opportunity has arisen for a Non-Destructive Test In-Service Engineer, in Filton. You will be responsible for the development of general and specific inspection procedures used by Airbus A/C operators and work on the delivery of Feasibility Studies, Technical Notes and Qualification Tests documentation to support the delivery of procedures.

A highly technical role. You'll be contributing to the development of NDT methods for In-Service applications, and have full accountability on the delivery of test results and other real time support to customer services queries.

Working within a transnational team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across all programmes and have direct liaison with our customers as well as the opportunity to work in the Labs delivering test results and other real time support to customer's queries. Your main task and responsibilities will include:
- Leading technical reviews and approve procedures developed by our Industrial Partners and sub contractors
- Running the technical qualifications (i.e. Probability of Detection) of new NDT methods or applications
- Managing the subcontracted activities for the development of NTM procedures, new technologies or new qualifications
- Supporting the development of new procedures during the structural tests and teardown stages to prepare their potential application on In-Service conditions
- Managing the Airbus tools such as BuySide to launch purchase orders for assets and subcontracted activities
- Managing the full list of NTM procedures for the development of procedures for the Wing (and others
